Dr Lim Cheok Peng, a cardiologist, was the former CEO of Parkway Holdings and the Managing Director of IHH Healthcare Berhad. He was widely credited for Gleneagle’s phenomenal transformation from a small cottage hospital on Napier Road into the healthcare empire that it is today.
The book was originally conceived by his family as a surprise birthday present (hence the rush to meet the deadline) but the secret was subsequently discovered by Dr Cheok himself. In hindsight, this was a stroke of good luck as it gave Dr Cheok the opportunity to contribute his personal insights on the industry and the people who mattered to him.
The book is slim and elegantly proportioned, with a restrained colour palette of maroon and gold in matt and gloss.
Title lettering arranged vertically, hot-stamped in gold for book cover, and printed gold for section dividers.
