Zakti is ‘creative imagination’. Its root word in Sanskrit is ‘Shakti’ (Devanagari:शक्ति) — ‘power’, ‘strength’ or ‘positive energy’. In the Malay language, it's ‘sakti’ or ‘magic’.

The Motivate–Zakti partnership was launched during the IDentity Interior Design Awards Night on 14 October 2018 at the Zabeel House Al Seef, Dubai.
