Encore Melaka is the name of the performance, as well as the performing arts theatre, the largest in Southeast Asia.

The performance is based on the story of Melaka (Malacca), one of the world’s busiest entreports in the 15th and 16th century.

The signage design was inspired by the sails of the trading ships from near and far— 83 languages were spoken in the ancient port.
